Sebastien Blanc

Seb writes solo piano music shaped by a quiet, reflective relationship with the instrument. Having begun his piano journey as an adult, he studied with Aysedeniz Gökcin and continues to compose and play out of a personal love for the piano rather than professional intent. His music sits within the world of contemporary neo-classical piano, influenced by artists such as Joep Beving and Otto Totland, with an affinity for the intimate Nordic sound worlds of Bugge Wesseltoft and the Esbjörn Svensson Trio.

Each piece is rooted in a childhood memory or impression — moments, places, and feelings that left a lasting mark and continue to shape the emotional world of his music.
